At Basfords we pride ourselves on being able to work on a large number of properties. From working on new buildings to homes built in the 1930s, we love the opportunity to work on our customers home and create a look that is in keeping wit the properties design. This point is really important with more traditional builds, such as this project.
For this project, the customer had wooden windows fitted in their Stone work home which had started to peel and didn’t compliment the overall aesthetic of the home anymore, so they decided to call us to see what we could provide them with, and arranged an appointment for a member of our sales team to see their home and provide some guidance on the subject. At the appointment, the member of our sales team in question suggested that the customer look at the Timberlook Range of windows we provide, due to their wooden aesthetic design being able to compliment the property. When visiting the customers were impressed with the look and design of the windows and decided to replace their old windows with new Timberlook windows, finished cotswold grey on the outside and white inside, complete with Georgian bars, as well as incorporating a 4 pane Crittall Designed Origin bi fold door, finished black both sides, fitted at the front of their home, as part of the customers planned living room redesign project.
As you can see from the images provided, the property looks a lot better with the new Timberlook windows fitted, but there’s also a good contrast by combining a set of Origin bi fold doors into the front design of the home.
